Fujifilm Instax Presets are built to replicate Fujifilm’s Instax instant film specifically, its square format, vibrant but soft color, and nostalgic, spontaneous feel, rather than a general vintage look. Unlike using an actual Instax camera, applying these in Lightroom means you get the same aesthetic with full editing flexibility: you can adjust exposure, crop, or combine the look with other edits, none of which you can do once an Instax photo has already printed.

• Don’t over-sharpen after applying the preset, Instax’s softness is part of the look, not a flaw to correct.
• The Warm and Vivid versions work best in daylight, Instax film was designed for natural light, and it shows.
• If you want the classic white border, that’s a separate frame overlay, not something baked into the color preset itself, check the instruction guide for how to add it.
• Try the Pulled version on photos with a lot of midtones (skin, wood, sand), it holds the format’s softness without looking flat.

Installing Presets in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) 10.3+ (Windows & Mac)

1. Open your image in Adobe Photoshop.
2. At the top menue click on Filter and select “Camera Raw Filter”.
3. On the right you see the word “Basic” click the small burger next to it. Then, click “Load Settings”.
4. Choose the .xmp file(s) from downloaded and unzipped folder. Then click on “Load” button.
5. To apply a preset, click on OK button.
