Portra 160 – NC
NC (Natural Color) is Kodak’s standard Portra rendering, accurate skin tones, neutral color balance, and the fine grain this ISO 160 stock is known for.
Portra 160 vivid – VC
VC (Vivid Color) is Kodak’s higher-saturation variant, the same film, pushed in the dye layers for more color pop.
Portra 160 cool
Cool is a bluer white balance shift on the base look, calmer skin tones, less warmth in the highlights, built for harsh midday sun.
Portra 160 warm
Warm leans into Portra’s golden side, deeper amber skin, richer highlights, built for softer light like early morning or late afternoon.
Portra 160 pulled
Pulled mimics underdeveloped film, lifted shadows, softer contrast, muted color, the faded look without touching your own sliders.
Portra 160 pushed
Pushed mimics overdeveloped film, deeper blacks, added contrast, a touch more grain, built for when you want extra punch from this fine-grain stock.
Portra 160 flat
Flat is a deliberately low-contrast, desaturated base, built as a starting point for your own color grade, not a finished look.
Portra 160 balance
Balance is the safest all-around preset, even contrast, moderate saturation, the Portra 160 look with no lean toward cool, warm, or flat.

Shot a whole bridal session with this preset last month and didn’t have to touch skin tones at all, which never happens for me. Genuinely one of the best portrait presets I’ve used.

Really solid preset, the skin tones are the best I’ve found so far. Only small thing is it runs a touch warm on very fair skin, so I pull back the temperature slider slightly. Still my go-to for portrait sessions though.

Wasn’t sure another portrait preset would really be different from the ones I already own. This one is though, it’s noticeably softer and more forgiving on skin, especially in mixed indoor lighting. Iam Already planning to use it on my next session. Recommended.

So good – very soft and natural colors, perfect for family photos. Easy to install with instructions, thank you Legendary Presets.

I’ve been shooting portraits professionally for about six years and have gone through more preset packs than I’d like to admit, most of them either oversaturate skin or make everything look too cool and flat. This one actually gets the warmth right without tipping into orange, and the grain is subtle enough that it doesn’t fight with the softness Portra 160 is known for. Worth the price.
